Jio Prepaid to Postpaid |
As of last update in September 2021, the process to convert a Jio prepaid connection to postpaid may have changed. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend visiting the official Jio website or contacting their customer support directly. However, I can provide a general outline of the steps involved based on the previous process:
There are two ways to convert your Jio prepaid number to postpaid:
How to convert Jio Prepaid to Postpaid Using the MyJio app
- Open the MyJio app.
- Tap on the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap on Prepaid to Postpaid.
- Enter your registered mobile number and tap on Continue.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and tap on Verify.
- Select a JioPostPaid plan and tap on Proceed.
- You will be asked to provide your KYC details. Enter your details and tap on Submit.
- Your request will be processed and you will be notified once your number is converted to postpaid.
Calling the Jio customer care
- Dial 1800 889 9999 from your Jio number.
- Select the option to speak to a customer care representative.
- Tell the representative that you want to convert your prepaid number to postpaid.
- The representative will ask you for your details and will help you with the conversion process.
- The process of converting your Jio prepaid number to postpaid will take 3-7 days. Once your number is converted, you will start getting billed on a monthly basis.
Here are some of the benefits of Jio postpaid:
- You get unlimited data, voice calls, and SMS.
- You don't have to worry about running out of balance.
- You get access to exclusive benefits, such as JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud.
- If you are looking for a hassle-free and convenient way to manage your mobile phone bill, then Jio postpaid is a good option for you.
